All in All ver 2

Hey man, it’s been a pleasure standing on the balcony with you
Should we turn around and go inside or jump down to the streets below?
The city lights, well, they are blinding, so the stars will light our way
And when it’s over Iím sure we’ll still be friends just like we were yesterday

All in all it’s nothing but a maze of walls
And I can’t seem to find my way out of here
So now I’m feeling scared

Hey man, it’s been a pleasure circling around the town with you
Should we take a break from it all or just go ’round in a circle again?
The stars, well, they have become so blinding so let’s close our eyes and take a chance
Sometimes I just want to make it home and fall asleep after an evening dance

And all in all it’s nothing but a dazzling fall
That doesn’t seem to take its course
Yet I’m filled with remorse

I wrote the first version of this song in my ex’s van on the way to a movie, and then put it together with some bass I had written before. At some point in time, I can’t remember when or why, I rewrote a couple lines and this was the end result, which I prefer to the first version.
