Cold and fucking miserable

Pretty much describes Calgary right now.
Shay and I did Christmas shopping the other day, got that out of the way. I got to buy for myself Ender in Exile by Orson Scott Card, the first direct sequel to Ender’s Game, which is my favorite book ever, and Exile is probably one of my most anticipated novels ever. Also bought The Dark Knight and Shay got me Joker by Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo, which is a look at the Joker, obviously. I’ve never been a fan of comics in my life, and as much as I enjoyed Batman Begins, TDK is the reason I’m trying to track down as many good Batman stories that I can. I definitely reccommend Alan Moore’s The Killing Joke and Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale’s The Long Halloween, and I have a few more in mind that I’m going to track down.
