So Joanna and I went for beer after work today

And we decided to 411 our old science teacher from high school.
Who remembers us.
And says we should stop by in September when he starts teaching for his last year.
Beer is good.

I miss Courtney.
I’m stoked to see Dala open for Matt Good. They’re cute and sweet and talented girls who signed my CD.
I’m so sunburnt.
I ordered a signed copy of Hospital Music even though I am hella broke.
Training for new work stuff tomorrow.

Stampede is here, construction sucks, I bought cool stuff
July 7, 2007 · Leave a Comment
Stampede is here, which means everyone is going to dress up and act like a douchebag for the next 10 days. And I may just be going there to see Tom Cochrane play and to hang out with Dezzy and Launa.
Road construction sucks, especially when there are 2 major spots on my way to work, one I didn’t find out about until my bus was 10 minutes late this morning. I still made it on time.
Recent purchases:
2 tickets to see Matthew Good at the Jack Singer on September 25 (now accepting date applications)
The Bridge (a movie about suicides on the Golden Gate Bridge)
The Devil and Daniel Johnston
A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah
I’m addicted to Falafel King.

A walk home on a Monday night
July 2, 2007 · Leave a Comment
I had to walk home for about half an hour today due to the buses running on holiday time to celebrate Canada Day. No big deal, it was nice and warm still, and the breeze was quite lovely, as were the sights. Walking across the soccer and baseball field by my mom’s place, I got to see the flashing lights of an airplane flying west into what was left of the sunset, and a jetstream from another plane already gone by. And then there were the bunnies, hopping around. One of them actually stood up on its hind legs and took two hops on them.
If only I had my camera with me.
