Pretty soon I will be leaving to go see Matthew Good play at Folkfest. I hope to hell Allyson can stay to watch the set with me, but she has to be up hella early tomorrow for school, so we’ll see.

I’ve turned the “Books Page” into the Book Collection page with a list of most of the books currently in my bookcase, with the rest of them, as well as links to be added soonish. I’ve also added a recently read page, so you can see what books I have read, and how long it has taken me to read it.

I’ll eventually link to the movies and bands I have listed on those pages.

Must get ready for picnic.

My brother wrecked his car last night

He’s fine- some bumps and bruises, that kind of thing. He spent last night in the hospital, but as far as I know he’s out now.

The really sad thing is that my mom is already trying to use it as an excuse to not buy my dad’s car off of him.

Book page change?

I’ve been meaning to do a slight overhaul on the books page lately, as well as possibly the currently reading page. What I want to do exactly, I’m not sure. I’m leaning towards making the books page into a list of the books, in order that I’ve read them, with start and finish dates and links to their chapters page, or something of that nature. That way I can keep track of what I’ve read, and, if anyone who reads this and checks those and actually cares, they can see what I’ve read and such things.

For those of you who actually do look at my currently reading page, I like to link the book I’m reading with an image of the cover, which is incredibly simple HTMK, especially with the handy posting buttons. Now, with the Chapters website, anything they have on sale, they will superimpose a percetage discount image over the image. Now, by clicking on the image and going into the properties, that new image is in what chapters calls their “dynamic images” server, or something of that nature, and I think, short of going through the page source code which would be an incredible pain in the ass, even using Firefox’s find command, the image won’t display properly.

So I got smart and stole it from Amazon.
