I’m sure you’ve all noticed that I’ve not been online a lot as of late. Much of that has to do with me spending time with Allyson, talking on the phone with her, things like that, but it’s also been a concious decision of mine. I recent hit 50,000 posts on Nexopia and started to think about where all that time was spent. I was thinking about my relationship with Brynn and how I became a slave to my computer- not at all her fault, but it was just my mindset at the time. If she wasn’t online I’d always be checking her AIM away message, waiting for her to get home from school or work and come online, getting frustrated when she wasn’t online when I expected her to be. This mentality definitely caused a lot of problems between us, a lot of arguments that shouldn’t have happened, but they did, and we can’t do much about that now.
I don’t want anyone thinking that I’m blowing them off for Allyson, that I don’t like talking to them, but it’s just something that needs to be done for a while. Honestly, it’s kind of refreshing to spend parts of my days curled up on the couch in a blanket with a stuffed bear and read for an hour, or go outside and read. Could I have done this before? Absolutely.
I’m kinda sad I didn’t.

i laugh my head off everytime a news show does a feature on the dangers of myspace. last nite some lady was all it’s like the new playground for kids!!!

One thing the movie Munich did was reaffirm my belief, and further prove that violence does nothing but beget violence. In 1972, 11 Israeli athletes were murdered. The PM and Mossard (the Israeli intelligence service) decided to assassinate the 11 people allegedly responsible for planning the massacre. As a result of these assassinations, planes were hijacked and passengers killed, tourists in Athens were killed by grenades and small arms fire. As a result of these assassinations, nothing good happened. The cycle of violence that has been raging on and on between the Palestinians and the Jews for centuries continued on, seemingly with no end in sight. The situation is complicated, no doubt about that, but they can live in peace if they try. Someone has to take the first step to stop the violence.

In essence, a film sequel to Final Fantasy 7 on the PSX, the game that, arguably, brought RPG’s to the North American mainstream, Advent Children is, well, a masterpiece. Whether your a fan of the game or not, have played the game or not, check out this movie, if only just to marvel at the technical aspects of it. To think that computers are getting more powerful and will be able to do more things in the future is something almost incomprehensible to me right now.

support for same-sex couples across Canada.
The census form instructs same-sex couples who are married to check the
‘Other’ category at the bottom of the list of relationships, rather than
checking the top box marked ‘Husband or wife.’
Egale Canada, the national organization which advances equality for lesbian,
gay, bisexual, and trans-identified people in Canada, is recommending that
same-sex married couples list their relationship as ‘Husband or wife’ rather
than ‘Other.’ According to Statistics Canada, either response will be
captured correctly as a married same-sex couple. In addition, Egale is
calling on all concerned Canadians to add a comment on Page 6 of the
questionnaire, such as ‘Same-Sex couples deserve equal treatment.’
Please take further action to make express your support for same-sex
